Pyramid is a 1978 published progressive rock album by the British band The Alan Parsons Project.

Background

The LP was conceived at a time, in the general interest in pyramids and the pyramid energy was very high. A pyramid is depicted on the back of the dollar bill, there were newspaper reports of alleged magical properties. This album contains many reverences to ancient wonders, even to the pyramids of Egypt. This is most evident in the titles of What Goes Up ... and Pyramania.
