Qiao Yunping

Qiao Yunping (born 13 September 1968, Qingdao) is a Chinese table tennis player who was world champion in the 1990s in the double and won silver at the Olympics.

Career

The left-hander Qiao Yunping achieved its main successes primarily in doubles and team competitions. From 1991 to 1997 she took part in all four World Cups. They became world champion in doubles with Liu Wei 1993, Mixed with Ma Wenge she reached the semi-finals. At the next World Cup in 1995, she won a bronze medal in single, silver in doubles with Liu Wei and gold with the Chinese team. Another bronze medal she won in 1997 World Cup in women's doubles with Wang Hui.

In 1994, Qiao Yunping Asia champion in doubles with Liu Wei and with the team in singles and mixed it came to the last four. In 1996 she qualified for participation in the Olympic Games, where she won the silver medal in doubles with her " master partner " Liu Wei.

In the ITTF World Ranking Qiao Yunping finished end of 1997 ninth.

Time in Germany

1994 Qiao Yunping was committed by the Bundesliga club Rot-Weiss Klettham - Erding, with the 1997 and 1998 she won the ETTU Cup. Here they remained until 1998, then to play a year in China at the Shanghai team. In 1999, she joined the FC Langweid and helped the women's team to the German championship.

Private

Qiao Yunping has five siblings. A sister Qiao Yunli, lives in Germany and is the wife of the former Bavarian champion Ralf Schreiner.
