Raddestorf is a municipality in the district of Nienburg / Weser in Lower Saxony. It belongs to the Samtgemeinde lamp which has its administrative headquarters in the light spots.

Geography
Raddestorf is between the nature park Dumber and the Natural Park Steinhude approximately midway between Sulingen and Minden, on the border with North Rhine -Westphalia. The municipality consists of the villages Raddestorf Huddestorf, Dierstorf, Gräsebilde, Raddestorf, Jenhorst, little Heerse, Glissen, Kreuzkrug and Harrienstedt.
History
Incorporations
On March 1, 1974, the municipalities Harrienstedt, Huddestorf, Jenhorst and little Heerse were incorporated.

Culture and sights
Already for the year 1583 a water mill in Harrienstedt is demonstrated in a document. A functional successor building from 1837 stands there today. The mill is station 37 of the Lower Saxon Mill Road / region between the rivers Weser and Hunte.
By Raddestorf also carries a section of the Westphalian Mills Route. The windmill Great Heerse is located only about 100 meters behind the church and state boundary.
