Place name
Previous names of this single were in the years 1251 Binne, 1254 and 1340 internal Bynnen. The place name is difficult to derive. It might seem like " Bünte " on the Old High German " biunta ", Middle High German " biunte, biunde " for " eingefriedigtes Rottland in the commons, in the narrow sense only the basic rule " to go back. However, this is unlikely. Another possibility would be the origin as " binder ". The place name comes from the atenglische " tie " for " climber " back. The word refers to all kinds of climbing plants such as " wine, ivy and so on ." So inland could designate a point where there are climbing plants. But this interpretation is very uncertain and not yet finally resolved.
