Raffaele De Rosa

Raffaele De Rosa ( born March 25, 1987 in Naples, Campania, Italy ) is an Italian motorcycle racer.

Career

After four years as a regular rider in the 125cc class of the MotoGP World Championship Raffaele De Rosa changed for the 2009 season in the 250 cc class of the World Cup, where he 250cc on a Honda the Scot Racing Team at the side of the Japanese Hiroshi Aoyama launched. The Italians showed constant performance, drove twelve top - 10 finishes in 16 races and achieved in Australia and Valencia each with rank three of his best results of the season. In the overall standings De Rosa finished in sixth place, earning him the title Rookie of the Year earned. Teammate Aoyama became world champion.

In 2010 Raffaele De Rosa starts in the newly created Moto2 class of the Motorcycle World Championship. He takes 3 Racing on the side of Yūki Takahashi for the French team Tech.
