Ráječko

Ráječko ( German Rajetschko, also Rajetzko ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers north of Blansko and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Ráječko is located west of the Moravian Karst in Drahany country. The village is located on the left bank of the Svitava along the creek Chrábek. To the northeast, the Spálené hora collected ( 529 m ) in the east of Podvrší (590 m ) southwest of the U Krbu ( 544 m ) in the west of Jedle ( 561 m) and north-west the Bukovice (500 m ), Na Vápnech (361 m) and Hora ( 383 m). To the west runs along the right bank of the Svitava the railway line Česká Třebová - Brno, the nearest train station is Dolni Lhota. To the east lies the deserted village Podolí, southeast of the abandoned settlements Bezděčice and Neradice.

Neighboring towns are Rájec in the north, Karolín, Petro Vice and Vavrinec in the northeast, Veselice and Malá Veselice in the east, Nové Dvory Obůrka and Češkovice the southeast, Horni Lhota and Blansko in the south, Dolni Lhota and Závist the southwest, Spešov in the west and Cerna Hora and Jestřebí in the northwest.

History

The oldest written record was made in 1531 in the city Boskovicer book. The settlement was built around a farmyard. 1554 Václav associated Doubravka Hradiště place was called in the wake of the sale of Blansky forest. This was until 1999 when the first evidence of Ráječko. At the beginning of the 17th century was the village of 24 properties, of which were designated after the Thirty Years' War in the hooves register of 1656 as a three desolate. 1766 acquired Anton Josef Altgraf of Salm- Reifferscheidt the feud Blansko including Ráječko for 100694 guilders by Karl Josef von Gellhorn and opened it to the Dominium Raitz. The Counts of Salm- Reifferscheidt - Raitz led to the domination of economic and cultural prosperity. 1788 was the compartmentalization of the farmyard and the floors were divided on the subjects against interest payments. Thus, the village grew to 1793 to 47 houses and had 200 inhabitants. In 1825, Hugo Franz Altgraf build Salm- Reifferscheidt Ráječko in a one-class village school. He also took over the material costs for school construction, transportation and construction services were incumbent residents. 1834 lived 320 people in 49 houses of Ráječko.

After the replacement of patrimonial Ráječko was / Rajetzko 1850 into an independent municipality in the district team Boskovice. 1869, the village had 459 inhabitants, in 1890 there were 557 A large fire destroyed at April 19, 1883 eight estate and the bell tower. During the snow melt, the Svitava met on 9 and 10 March 1888, the banks and flooded all the fields of the village. On 31 August 1952, the Chrabek swelled after a cloudburst on to a torrent and flooded the village. 1999 Leoš Vasek discovered in the city book of Boskovice the oldest evidence of Ráječko. After a fierce thunderstorm Ráječko was hit by a flood of Chrabek again on 26 May 2003. The bridge over the Svitava was renewed in 2008. Largest companies in Ráječko is the production site of the electronics company Celestica, which still operates another plant in Kladno in the Czech Republic. Gepfarrt the village has always been and jeh to Blansko.
