Ramires

Ramires Santos do Nascimento ( born March 24, 1987 in Barra do Pirai, Rio de Janeiro ), short Ramires, is a Brazilian footballer. He plays preferred in the midfield. He is currently in England at Chelsea under contract.

Career
Association
Ramires began his career in the youth from Joinville EC. In 2006 he moved up to the first team of his club, where he came to his first stakes in the men's area. In January of the following year he moved on loan to Cruzeiro EC. There he drew his potential to the full and was obliged at the end of the loan from Cruzeiro. In the second year was the midfielder talk services and thus also made European teams attention to itself. Finally, it should come in the summer of 2009 at a transfer to Europe. On 21 May 2009 Ramires signed for Benfica a five- year contract and moved to a release of 7.5 million euros. Right away he made his breakthrough with the Portuguese giants and became a regular player.
His debut in the Super League Ramires was on the second matchday of the 2009/10 season against Vitória Guimarães, on August 23, 2009. This coach Jorge Jesus offered him the same on the grid. On 21 July 2008 Ramires took part in the Olympic football tournament. With his team, he won the bronze medal. A year later, on 21 May 2009, he was nominated for the World Cup qualifiers and the Confederations Cup in 2009 for the first time in the Brazilian selection.
His first international game he played on 6 June 2009 during the World Cup qualifier against Uruguay. Coach Carlos Dunga joined him at that time in the 66th minute for Elano. The subsequent Confederations Cup won by the team a 3-2 victory over the United States, Ramires came during the tournament in all five games for use.
In May 2010, Ramires was called by Dunga in the squad for the World Cup in South Africa. He scored his first two goals in the 2010 World Cup preparations in the 5-1 against Tanzania, although he was only a substitute at halftime. During the World Cup finals Ramires came to four of five possible operations. However, he completed just one full season, was otherwise only be replaced.
