Rancate

Rancate was until April 4, 2009, a municipality in the district of Riva San Vitale, in the district of Mendrisio in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. On 25 November 2007, the merger of the municipalities Arzo, Capolago, Genestrerio, Mendrisio, Rancate and Tremona was approved by the voters. They have joined together by April 5, 2009 the new church Mendrisio.
