Rasa Polikevičiūtė

Rasa Polikevičiūtė ( born September 25, 1970 in Panevėžys, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a former Lithuanian cyclist and road world champion.

Rasa Polikevičiūtė began at the age of 13 years with the cycling and debuted in 1990 as a professional cyclist. In 1994, she became vice - world champion in team time trial in Agrigento. In the same year, and in 1996 she won second place respectively in the overall standings of the "Grande Boucle Féminine ".

2001 Rasa Polikevičiūtė World Champion in the road race, after she had already in 1996 to second place in 2000 and the third place.

Three times - 1996, 2000 and 2004 - Rasa Polikevičiūtė took part in the Olympic Games, but did not occupy the front seats.
