Reyes Municipality

The municipality Reyes is a district in the department of Beni in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Reyes is one of four Municipalities of the province Ballivián and is located in the northwestern part of the province. It is bordered to the west by the department of Pando, on the south by the municipality Rurrenabaque, on the southeast by the municipality of San Borja, on the east by the municipality of Santa Rosa de Yacuma, and to the north by the province Vaca Díez.

The largest town and administrative center in the municipality is the town with 6,277 inhabitants, Reyes (2001) in the southwestern part of the municipality.

Geography

The municipality Reyes is in the Bolivian part of the Amazon basin east of the mountain ranges of the country in a year-round humid climate.

The mean average temperature of the region is 26 ° C (see climate chart Rurrenabaque ) and varies only slightly between 23 ° C in June and July and about 27 ° C from October to December.
