Geography

The municipality is located in the north-eastern slope of the stone Above Piz Martegnas ( 2,670 m). The parish boundary is formed in the north of Adont (including Salaschigns ), to the east the Julia and the Forbesch - Arblatsch massif, in the south the Fuorcia Curtegns that Fuorcia Starlera and Fuorcia because Saletscha and west Piz Alv, Piz Settember, Sur Carungas, Piz and Piz Cartas Martegnas. Languages

Until the late 19th century, all residents spoke Surmeirisch, a regional dialect of Romansh.
