Rita (Israeli singer)

Rita Yahan Farouz (formerly Rita Kleinstein, Hebrew ריטה; born March 24, 1962 as Rita Yahan Farouz ( Pers ریتا جہان فروز ) in Tehran, Iran) is a successful Israeli singer. Your family is originally from Iran and immigrated to Israel in 1970.

1986 failed Rita at the Israeli preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest. In 1990 she won the preliminary round with the song Shara Barekhovot (German: " Singing in the streets " ) and took so as a representative of Israel in Zagreb part. However, they only reached the 18th place at 22 participants.

Rita was married to Israeli musician Rami Kleinstein. They have two daughters: Meshi and Noam. In September 2008, the couple announced their separation.

On June 22, 2011 her new single Persian, Shane appeared.

On March 5, 2013, she sang before the United Nations General Assembly in Persian, English and Hebrew.
