Roa–Hønefoss Line

The Jevnakerbane, and Roa - Hønefosslinjen, runs from Roa after Hønefoss in Norway. Originally it was part of the Bergensbane.

The line was opened in 1909, the trains Oslo-Bergen wrong time from Oslo to Roa on the Gjøvikbane. This route is now mainly still used by freight trains, because it is shorter than the connection via Drammen. The course combines two important railway junction: In Roa it meets the Gjøvikbane Oslo Gjøvik, in Hønefoss on the Bergensbane Bergen Drammen to Oslo on the Drammenbane.
