Geography

Röblingen, located about 12 km south-east of Lutherstadt Eisleben on Bach Weida on the lake.

• Unterröblingen

History

In a resulting 881-899 Directory of tithing of Hersfeld Monastery Röblingen first mentioned together with the other three locations with the same name as the tenth place requiring Rebiningi in the frieze field writing. 932 Röblingen was in a charter of Henry I. on the lake listed in pago friesonoueld in Comitatu sigfridi lying as seorebininga. Traffic

At the federal highway 80, which connects the Eisleben and Halle ( Saale), there are in the north 3 km. The A38 runs south of the city, 5 km away.

Röblingen has a station on the Halle- Kassel railway. He was from 1884 to 2003 starting point of the railway line Röblingen am See- Vitzenburg of which a remnant is only operated in freight traffic. From 1876 to 1992 the station was affiliated to the lake the depot Röblingen.

Industrial history
