Roman Catholic Diocese of Koudougou

The diocese Koudougou (Latin: Dioecesis Kuduguensis ) is a location in Burkina Faso Roman Catholic diocese based in Koudougou.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded the Apostolic Prefecture Ouahigouya with the Apostolic Constitution Quo in Africa on June 12, 1947 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Ouagadougou. She was raised on June 14, 1954 to the Apostolic Vicariate, which assumed its present name.

With the bull Dum Tantis it was collected on September 14, 1955 Diocese, which was the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou is a suffragan. On June 23, 1958 were from parts of its territory to the foundation of the diocese Ouahigouya.
