Roman Catholic Diocese of Ouahigouya

The Diocese of Ouahigouya (Latin: Dioecesis Uahiguyaensis ) is a location in Burkina Faso Roman Catholic diocese based in Ouahigouya.

History

The Diocese of Ouahigouya was on 23 June in 1958 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Sollemne nobis out of territory of the diocese Koudougou. It was the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou is a suffragan. On 20 November 2004, the Diocese of Ouahigouya were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Dori.
