Roman Catholic Diocese of Legnica

The Diocese of Legnica (Latin: Dioecesis Legnicensis, poln: Diecezja Legnicka ) is located in Poland Roman Catholic diocese based in Legnica ( Liegnitz German ).

History

The Diocese of Legnica was established on 25 March 1992 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Totus Tuus Poloniae populus out of territory of the Archdiocese of Wroclaw and this is a suffragan. On 24 February 2004, the Diocese of Legnica were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Świdnica.
