Romanian Television

Televiziunea Română ( TVR ) is the public television company in Romania. It was founded in 1956 in Bucharest.

TVR shines among other things, the television programs TVR 1 (since 1956) and TVR 2 (since 1968). In 1995 the foreign service TVR International. TVR HD started in 2008 with the first broadcasts in HDTV. Also in 2008, started TVR 3, TVR shows the shipments of regional studios and TVR Info ( since 2012 TVR News) as well as the cultural programs sending TVR Cultural, which was set back in 2012.
