Ron van den Beuken

Ron van den Beuken ( born April 10, 1970 in Horst ) is a Dutch trance DJ and producer. He is also known under the pseudonyms Clokx, The Mystery, Floyd and Shane.

Biography

Ron van den Beuken attended the Conservatorium Maastricht and Maastricht University, where he studied law. There he discovered the interest in electronic music. After graduating, he began his musical career in 2000. First, he released some tracks under various pseudonyms such as Unicorn, Zith or The Mystery. With the latter pseudonym he achieved two chart entries in the UK singles charts.

Published in 2003 under the pseudonym Ron Clokx a cover of Coldplay's song Clocks, who came to the dance charts worldwide. With "Timeless", the first single, which he published under his real name, he achieved the breakthrough. The single was for a total of 15 weeks in the Dutch charts. He had his greatest success with the single " Sunset", which reached number 22 in the Dutch charts. In 2003, Ron van Beuken also founded the music label RR Records.

Ron van den Beuken has already produced some successful remixes. He has remixed, among other Ferry Corsten, 4 Strings, and Blank & Jones.
