Ross, Skye and Inverness West (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Inverness East, Nairn and Lochaber was a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of eight constituencies of the Highlands and Islands electoral region, which was re-cut by the revision of constituencies in 2011. Here, the constituency of Ross, Skye and Inverness West was dissolved. It included sparsely populated central areas of the Council Area Highland consisting of areas of the traditional counties of Inverness -shire and Ross -shire with the towns of Dingwall, Alness and Muir of Ord and the Isle of Skye. Inverness itself, however, the neighboring constituency of Inverness East, Nairn and Lochaber was assigned. The territories have been merged into the constituencies Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch, Caithness, Sutherland and Ross and Inverness and Nairn. It was sent a deputy.
