Rouen Nordic Film Festival
The Festival du cinéma nordique ( German: Festival of Nordic cinema ) was a French Film Festival, which took place in the Norman port city of Rouen from 1988 to 2010 every year in mid -March. It was next to the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck one of the few major film festivals in Europe, the films from the Nordic and Baltic countries devoted himself ( since 1990). Since 1998, films from the Netherlands and Belgium were shown. With the " Grand Jury Prize" ( Grand Prix du jury ) feature films were awarded prizes from these countries. After a dispute with the city of Rouen, the organizers announced in December 2010 to the end of the festival and since then it no longer takes place.
