Geography
The Town of Roxbury is located in southern Wisconsin, in the northwest suburban area of the capital, Madison. In the extreme northwest corner of the Town on the Wisconsin River is limited. Located on the Mississippi intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota is located about 160 km west-northwest; to Illinois is approximately 95 km to the south.
The coordinates of the geographical center of the Town of Roxbury are 43 ° 14'48 " north latitude and 89 ° 39'29 " west longitude. It extends over an area of 93.0 km ² which 89.6 km ² land and 3.4 km ² water surface spread.

Traffic
U.S. Highway 12 runs northwest-southeast direction through the Town of Roxbury. To the northwest, across from Sauk City, Wisconsin State Highway 78 and Wisconsin State Highway 188 meet together with the U.S. 12. In addition, run nor the County Highway V and Y through the territory of the Town. All other roads are minor roads or partly unpaved roadways.
The nearest airport is Dane County Regional Airport in Madison (35 km east-southeast ).
