Saadi Al Munla
Saadi Mounla (Arabic al - Sa'di سعدي المنلا Munla ) was a politician in the United Lebanon.
Life
Mounla was a member of a Sunni family in Tripoli. He graduated from law school.
In the parliamentary elections in Lebanon in 1943, he was elected as an MP from northern Lebanon for the first time in the National Assembly. From 22 May to 14 December 1946, he served as Prime Minister of Lebanon. He was appointed by Béchara el- Khoury as head of government in 1946. In this period he also served as Minister of Economics.
Under the Cabinets of Sami Solh Mounla was Home Secretary.
