Saikai, Nagasaki

Saikai (Japanese西海 市, -shi) is a city of Nagasaki Prefecture on the island of Kyūshū in Japan.

Geography

Saikai is located north of Nagasaki on the northern half of Nishisonogi Peninsula. In the north, the Sasebo Bay, in the west sea area Sumō - nada and in the east the Omura Bay is located. They belong to the East China Sea.

History

Saikai was established on 1 April 2005.
