San Carlos Department, Mendoza

The Department of San Carlos ( Mendoza) is located in the west of the province of Mendoza in western Argentina and is one of 18 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Tunuyán and Rivadavia, on the east by the department of Santa Rosa, on the south by the department of San Rafael and on the west by Chile.

The capital of the department of San Carlos ( Mendoza) is the eponymous San Carlos.
