San Pedro de Curahuara de Carangas

San Pedro de Curahuara is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

San Pedro de Curahuara is the administrative seat of the province Gualberto Villarroel and central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio) San Pedro de Curahuara. The village lies at an altitude of 3897 m at the northeastern end of the Serrania de Huayllamarca, of a 100- kilometer-long ridge that extends on the Altiplano in the west of the city of Oruro in northwest -southeast direction.

Geography

San Pedro de Curahuara is located in the Bolivian highlands between the Andes mountain ranges, the Cordillera Occidental and the Cordillera Central in the west to the east.
