Sarajevo Canton

The Canton Sarajevo ( bosn. Sarajevski CANTON, Croat. Sarajevska Županja ) is one of the ten cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It comprises the Bosnia-Herzegovina capital Sarajevo and its surroundings and has an area of ​​1276.9 km ².

Population

The Sarajevo Canton has about 438,000 inhabitants ( census 2013). He is one of five Bosniak majority cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
