Sasayama, Hyōgo

Sasayama (Japanese筱 山 市, - shi) is a city located in Hyōgo Prefecture in Japan.

Geography

Sasayama is located in a broad valley about 10 km long, up to 793 m high mountains surrounded about midway between the Sea of ​​Japan and the Pacific. In the east it borders the Kyoto Prefecture, on the southeast by the Prefecture of Osaka.

History

The Shi Sasayama was created on 1 April 1994 from the merger of Chō Sasayama (筱 山 町, chō ), Nishiki (西 纪 町, chō ) stannane (丹南 町, chō ) and Konda (今 田 町, chō ) of the Taki -gun (多 纪 郡). In the former municipalities are now branches of the Town Hall.

Attractions
