Saudi Arabia national futsal team

The Saudi Arabian National Futsal is a representative sample of Saudi Arabian futsal players. The team represents the Saudi Arabian Football Federation at international meetings. The team took part in the first 1989 Futsal World Cup under the auspices of FIFA, but has since been only sporadically in appearance.

Performance in tournaments

Saudi Arabia was founded in 1989 invited by FIFA to participate in the first Futsal World Cup in the Netherlands. In a group with Spain, the eventual champions Brazil and Hungary we finished the preliminary round after three defeats in last place in the standings. Until next international appearance of a Saudi Arabian Futsal Teams lasted until 2007, when a team at the Asian Indoor Games in Macau took part. Since then the national team came no more internationally in appearance. 2009, the team to qualify for Asia Cup 2010 has been reported, but withdrew after the draw.
