Hong Kong national futsal team
The Futsal National Team of Hong Kong is a representative selection of futsal players of the Hong Kong SAR. The team representing the Football Federation of Hong Kong at international meetings.
Performance in tournaments
Hong Kong was the host of the 1992 Futsal World Cup second under the auspices of FIFA, although the sport until then in Hong Kong was almost unknown. After narrow defeats against Argentina and Poland and a 4-1 victory against Nigeria the tournament for the host team was complete after the first round. Since then, one takes irregularly at the World Cup qualifiers in part, in 1996 and 2004, they failed to qualify, 2000 and 2008 found no login instead.
At an Asia Championship, the team took part for the first time in 2003, since then it reached a total of five Appearances, which was, however, in each case in the preliminary round.
