Scott McKay (ice hockey)

Scott Gordon McKay ( born January 26, 1972 in Burlington, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was active during his active career, among other things, for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the National Hockey League.

Career

Scott McKay began his active career with the Burlington Cougars in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, for which he was active from 1988 to 1989. He then went in the next four years for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League to the ice and was able to increase his points total each year. After he was never drafted, the right-handed shooter, signed on 2 August 1993 as a free agent with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In the season 1993/94 he completed his first and also the only NHL game of his career. The majority of the playing time, the attacker spent with the San Diego Gulls of the International Hockey League, where he ranked among the top performers in 67 games and scored a total of 23 points scorer.

In the following season, McKay was for the Baltimore Bandits of the American Hockey League and the Raleigh IceCaps in the East Coast Hockey League on the ice. In the 1996/97 season the Canadians completed some games for the EC Graz and played with the team in the Alps league. He then returned to North America and ran into the sequence for the Port Huron Border Cats in the Colonial Hockey League and the Carolina Monarchs in the AHL on the ice. The following year, the attacker Louisiana IceGators joined and completed up to the end of the season 57 games in which he scored 41 points. Then McKay ended his active career.
