The Scottrade Center ( former names: Kiel Center and Savvis Center ) is a multi-purpose arena in St. Louis, Missouri. In the Arena hosts a variety of events, such as ice hockey, wrestling and boxing matches, concerts and ice cream and family shows, instead. Every year, an average of 2 million visitors to the arena 175 events. The Scottrade Center was chosen from behind the Bell Centre in Montreal to the stadium with the second best quality of ice in the National Hockey League.

The stadium is located in the center of St. Louis and is now the home venue of the St. Louis Blues of the NHL.

History

The arena was opened in 1994 under the name Kiel Center, replacing the Kiel Auditorium, which was demolished in December 1992. The Blues changed after the opening of their old stadium, the St. Louis Arena to the new Kiel Center. The naming rights were in September 2006 by the Savvis Inc., an American communications society, Scottrade Inc, a Marklerbüro of St. Louis, above.

Events

Many a time, refer to the event hall of the NCAA, the U.S. college sports organization instead. So the arena among others, the NCAA Frozen Four hockey contests in 2007, the NCAA Wrestling Championships will host 2008 and 2009 and the NCAA Women's Final Four basketball competitions in 2009.
