Sean O'Sullivan (snooker player)

Sean O'Sullivan (born 29 April 1994) is an English snooker player.

Career

O'Sullivan attempted for the first time during the Q School 2011 to qualify a qualifying tournament series for amateurs, for the main tour. In two of the three tournaments he failed in his first game against Mike Hallett and Thepchaiya Un - Nooh. Once, however, he made it to the semi-finals of his group, where he lost to the later group winners Tian Pengfei.

The following season, O'Sullivan took part in eleven of twelve tournaments in the Players Tour Championship 2011/12 as an amateur player. He never came over the round of the last 128 addition. He often failed to established professionals such as Ding Junhui, Stephen Maguire and Steve Davis.

In the Q School 2012, he finally was able to qualify for the main tour of the professionals: While he suffered a first round defeat against Stuart Carrington in the first attempt, he could win ( and others against Nick Dyson ) in the second tournament of his group and thus received a two-year ticket for the season 2012/13 and 2013 / 14th
