Sennen ( Cornish: San Senan ) is about 9 km ² large municipality and a city in the former Penwith District of Cornwall in England. The municipality includes the towns of Sennen Sennen Cove with the settlement, Trevescan, Carn Towan and Land's End, is about 13 kilometers west of Penzance. It lies on the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to the St Just in Penwith community to the north, St Levan to the south and at St Buryan in the east. The place Sennen is the most westerly of the English mainland. Accessible it is located across the highway A30 less than 2 miles from Land 's End. The place has a known cove with a sandy beach ( Sennen Cove ), which is also a popular surfing area.
