Geography
Geographical location
Sensbachtal is 300 to 550 meters above sea level in the southern Odenwald and the Geo - Bergstraße -Odenwald, 10 km from Eberbach am Neckar.
Neighboring communities
Sensbachtal is bordered to the east on the community Hesseneck ( Odenwald ), in the south on the town of Eberbach (Rhein- Neckar-Kreis in Baden- Württemberg) and in the west and north on the town Beerfelden ( Odenwald ).

History
The municipality was established on February 1, 1971 on the occasion of municipal reform in Hesse by the voluntary association of municipalities Hebstahl, Upper - and lower - Sensbach Sensbach.
