Sergei Pareiko

Sergei Pareiko (Russian: Сергей Викторович Парейко; born January 31, 1977 in Tallinn) is an Estonian football goalkeeper. The 193 cm tall goalkeeper is at Volga Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian league Premjer been under contract since 2013.

Career

Pareiko began his professional career at the Estonian Tallinna Sadam club, for whom he played four years as a goalkeeper. This was followed by a trip to Italy for AS Casale. After one season he returned to Estonia to FC Levadia Tallinn. There he played one season before joining the Russian club Rotor Volgograd and later to Tom Tomsk.

During the winter break of the season 2010/11 Pareiko signed a contract with Wisła Kraków until 2012. During his new employer Pareiko March 2011 was already after one month of the supporters of clubs from Kraków Player of the Month named, before Maor Melikson and Patryk Małecki. In his first season in Poland Pareiko secured with three games left in the season with a 1-0 win against Cracovia Krakow the championship title with Wisła.

National

Pareiko plays for the national team of Estonia. He made his debut on 31 August 1996 in a game against Belarus, when he came on in the eighth minute for the injured Mart Poom.
