Sheldon is a town in the state of Vermont in the United States, near the border with Canada. The place is of several population centers composed ( Sheldon, Sheldon Junction Sheldon Springs, East Sheldon, as well as several smaller hamlets ) that lie mostly along the Missisquoi River. The census of 2010, according to Sheldon has 2,190 inhabitants.

The nearest large town in the West Swanton (approx. 10 km), to the east Enosburgh (about 8 km). About the Interstate 89 in Swanton and Franklin County State Airport, also in Swanton, Sheldon is connected to the arterial systems of the United States.

Sheldon has its own primary school, but not on higher education.

Three religious groups are represented on the spot: the Episcopalians, Methodists, and a Roman Catholic church.
