Fletcher is a municipality in the state of Vermont in the United States with 1,277 inhabitants ( according to the census of 2010 ). It is surrounded by the Green Mountains, about 27 km east of Lake Champlain and 35 km south of the Canadian border.

The place is geared purely agricultural; there are no local industries. Also tourism is largely unknown in Fletcher.

Founded in 1781 and named after General Samuel Fletcher, the city's history recorded no significant events.

Nearby towns are in Fairfield, 14 km to the north, 14 km north-east of Bakersfield. Other neighboring municipalities are five kilometers south-east in Lamoille County or Cambridge, as well as eight kilometers south west Fairfax. The nearest large towns are a mere twenty kilometers in the northwest of St. Albans and 35 kilometers south west Burlington.
