Shin A-lam

Shin A- lam (born 23 September 1986 Geumsansa, Chungcheongnam -do, according to other sources in Gunsan, Jeollabuk -do, or in Seoul) is a South Korean epee fencer.

Shin, which started with the fencing sport during their time at school, won the 2012 Asian Championships in Epee.

At the Summer Olympics in the same year, she reached the semifinals in the individual competition. There came the battle against Britta Heidemann an uproar after the German in the last second of extra sat the decisive goal.
