Shotgun Express

Shotgun Express was a short-lived British rock band, which consisted of only a few months from 1966 to early 1967. Members were Beryl Marsden (vocals), Rod Stewart ( harmonica, vocals), Peter Bardens (keyboards), Peter Green (guitar, later by John Moorhead and then Phil Sawyer replaced ), Dave Ambrose (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums).

The band brought out in October 1966, the single I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round. Meaning the group had mainly as a springboard for the careers of the band members: Rod Stewart went to the Jeff Beck Group, Green and Fleetwood joined John Mayall and his Bluesbreakers, before they formed Fleetwood Mac, and Bardens played at The Love Affair and founded then Village.
