Shushi Province

Shushi (Armenian Շուշի ) is a province of the de facto Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. It not only covers the capital city of Shushi mostly west of the city center areas.

The area corresponds to the Azerbaijani Shusha district, which was occupied during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by Armenian troops. He will continue claimed by Azerbaijan.

The trunk road from Goris to Stepanakert runs through the province.
