Simcoe (Ontario)

Simcoe is the county seat of Norfolk County in Ontario, a province of Canada.

The city was founded in 1795 by its namesake, John Graves Simcoe, and went in 2001 in the county, whose seat is today.

The place is located at King's Highway 24 about 60 km southeast of Woodstock and about 15 km northwest of Lake Erie located Port Dover. In addition, it is accessed by the GO Transit in the Greater Toronto Area.

Worth seeing is next to the Lynnwood / Campbell -Reid House in neoclassical style, on a survey of the Lynn River from 1851 also WD Stalker, the last amphibious vehicle of its kind ( Alligator tug).
