Skunk Anansie
Skunk Anansie is a British band. As one of a woman dominated politically by their explicit texts tape she made the mid-1990s for musical upheaval. Especially in Europe, the band found with her bald frontwoman Deborah Anne Dyer ( "Skin" ) and its feminist, anti-racist texts echo. The band name Skunk Anansie is derived from a mythical West African figure, Anansi, the spider man, and the word Skunk, a cannabis strain from which was added to make the name naughty.
History
The singer Dyer founded in 1994 together with Martin Ivor Kent, called Ace ( guitar) and Richard Keith Lewis, called Cass ( bass) Skunk Anansie. The group had emerged ( and Others Wild Mama ) from earlier formations. First drummer of the band was Robbie France, circa 1995 took over the drums Mark Richardson.

2009 confirmed the band on their newly created MySpace profile rumors of a reunion and announced that they would write songs for a best-of- record and tour.
On March 5, 2009, two appearances under the pseudonym SCAM (Skin, Cass, Ace, Mark ) have been announced, which were sold out within 20 minutes. This was followed by concerts on September 9, their first European tour in eight years.
