Slovakia women's national football team

The Slovak national football team represents Slovakia in the women international women's football. The national reports to the Slovak Football Association and is trained by Zsolt Pakusza. The Slovak choice is sporty to the below average strong teams and has been unable to qualify for a major tournament itself. FIFA maintains the statistics of Slovakia as well as in the statistics of the Czech Republic, the games of Czechoslovakia, which contested 28 games 1986-1992. After separation, both teams performed their first two games against each other. The 0:17 against Norway on September 19, 1995, one of the highest defeats a European team.

In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met with Norway, the Netherlands, Belarus and Macedonia. Two wins against Macedonia were compared with six losses against the other three teams, so that only the last but one place was reached.

In qualifying for the EURO 2013 met the team to Finland, Ukraine, Belarus and Estonia again. Two wins against Estonia and a win against Belarus was offset by a draw and four defeats against the other teams, so that again only the penultimate place was reached.

In the FIFA World Ranking Slovaks fluctuated in recent years between 34th December 2006 and number 43 in June 2005 and March 2006. Currently, the team is on the 41st (as of December 2012).
