Snovídky

Snovídky ( German Snowidek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Koryčany and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

Snovídky is located in the north of Ždánický ( Ždánický Forest ) in the field of the natural park of the same name. The village is located on the right side of the Kyjovka or Stupava at the confluence of the streams and creek Nemotický Snovídský creek. To the north rises the Vysoká ( 347 m), in the northwest of Brankovický Kopec ( 338 m ) east of the Padělky (332 m), in the south of Nemotínek (360 m ) and southwest of the Hradek ( 369 m), U Slepice (437 m ) and Nebštich (377 m ). In the southeast of the railway line runs Brno - Veseli nad Moravou, the nearest railway station is located on the eastern outskirts Nemotice.

Neighboring towns are Nové Zámky and Dobročkovice in the north, and Brankovice Kožušice in the northeast, Nemotice in the east, in the southeast Mouchnice, Haluzice in the south Lovčice and Ždánice the southwest, Nevojice in the west and Letošov and Nesovice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Snowidek took place in 1360, the village sold as Stanimir of Snovídky and his mother together with Markéta Lovišky to Margarethe von Wildenberg. Subsequently, the owners changed frequently. 1368 the village belonged Pesek of Zdětín, 1390 followed by the brothers Albert and Hynek wake of Miličín, from 1392 Jaroš of Benes Cimburg and then Benešov on Kvasice. He sold the village and the farm Snovídky 1406 the pastor Zbynek in Krumsín and his brothers January Krumpsín of Želechovice and Jan Huse of Krumsín. Jindřich Huse of Krumpsín sold the property in 1437 to Krystof from Zarusky, who passed it immediately to the brothers Mikes and Hynek of Oynitz. Under Bag by Oynitz Snovídky was connected at the beginning of the 16th century to the reign Bučovice. The village Snovídky belonged to the early 17th century, only two Huben country. After the Thirty Years' War were 18 of the 26 property desolate. This situation lasted until the end of the 17th century. In 1784 lived in 44 houses of Snovídky 255 people. 1834 was the village of 47 houses, including a tavern, and a sawmill, and had 337 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Snovídky formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Wischau. 1855, the District of Bučovice road was built over Koryčany after Kyjov. In 1887, the Bohemian-Moravian Transversal took the route from Brno to the Wlarapass in operation. Built on the outskirts station already belongs to the land of Nemotice. The Liechtenstein united 1890, the Dominions and Steinitz Butschowitz for Good Butschowitz - Steinitz. 1896 Snovídky had grown to 86 houses in which 475 people lived. In 1908, the local railway Nemotitz - Koritschan began operating. Snovídky had 1920 585 inhabitants and consisted of 105 houses. In 1936 the brickyard was shut down. The mill made ​​1950 the operation. Between 1949 and 1959 the village belonged to Okres Bučovice and returned to its repeal in 1960 Okres Vyškov.
