Son Sang-pil

Son Sang -pil ( born September 1, 1973) was a South Korean wrestler. He was 1997 and 1999 world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in lightweight.

Career

Son Sang -pil began as a teenager in 1986 with the rings. He concentrated on the Greco- Roman style. He was a member of the Korea Housing Company Sports Club Seoul and was mainly trained by Bae Chang -kun. He studied sports and wrestled at a size of 1.67 meters always at lightweight.

The international Ringer career of Son Sang -pil started with a bang, as he was in 1989 in Warrensburg / USA Junior World Champion ( Cadets ) in both free -style and Greco- Roman style.
