Songkhla Rajabhat University

The Rajabhat University, Songkhla ( Thai: มหาวิทยาลัย ราชภัฏ สงขลา, in English usage Songkhla Rajabhat University, a ruthless short ) is a public university in the Rajabhat system vonThailand.

Location

The campus is located in the district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Songkhla. Songkhla is located in the southern region of Thailand.

History

The establishment of the Songkhla Rajabhat University goes back to 1919. The university status was awarded on 15 June 2004.

General

The university offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. President of the University is Assistant Professor Dr. Phai Red Duangwiset ( Thai: ผศ.ดร. ไพโรจน์ ด้วง วิเศษ ).

Symbols

The University colors are red and white, the university is the flower ( Cassia nodosa ) of the University is the tree ( Calophyllum inophyllum L.). The emblem of the University consists of the colors blue, green, gold, orange and white, each color has its own meaning:

  • The blue stands for the monarchy and establishes the relationship that the name comes from the Rajabhat Universities king.
  • The green stands for the 40 locations of the Rajabhat Universities and the exquisite nature-friendly environment.
  • The gold means intellectual wealth.
  • The orange stands for the local arts and cultural ornament of all Rajabhat University locations.
