Sophie Milliet

Sophie Milliet ( born November 2, 1983 in Marseille) is a French chess player.

Life

Sophie Milliet grew up in Castelnau -le- Lez. The chess games she learned at the age of four years.

Achievements

She became a French woman Singles Champion in 2003 in Aix -les- Bains, at the championships in 2004 and 2005 ( in Chartres ) she finished second behind Almira Scripcenco. In the Open Swiss Individual Championship in July 2006 in Lenzerheide, she was third. In August 2007, she was at the French Women's Championship tied second behind Silvia Collas. 2008 in Pau, she won for the second time the French women's title she successfully defended in Nimes 2009.

2002 at the Mitropa Cup in Saint -Vincent she reached the second place with the French women's national team.
