Sophie Milliet
Sophie Milliet ( born November 2, 1983 in Marseille) is a French chess player.
Life
Sophie Milliet grew up in Castelnau -le- Lez. The chess games she learned at the age of four years.
Achievements
She became a French woman Singles Champion in 2003 in Aix -les- Bains, at the championships in 2004 and 2005 ( in Chartres ) she finished second behind Almira Scripcenco. In the Open Swiss Individual Championship in July 2006 in Lenzerheide, she was third. In August 2007, she was at the French Women's Championship tied second behind Silvia Collas. 2008 in Pau, she won for the second time the French women's title she successfully defended in Nimes 2009.
2002 at the Mitropa Cup in Saint -Vincent she reached the second place with the French women's national team. With the women's national team, they also participated in five Chess Olympiads: 2004 on the first reserve board in 2006 at the third, fourth at the 2008, 2010 and 2012 on the second board with a total score of 31.5 points out of 47 games ( 25, = 13, -9 ). With Clichy she won in the 2006/07 season, both the French team championship and the French team championship of women with Evry was Sophie Milliet 2009 French team champion and 2011 and 2013 French team champion of women. The standards for her WGM title it achieved in July 2003 at the 11th International Open in Saint- Affrique as well as in the French women's singles championships in August 2003 in Aix -les- Bains and in August 2004 in Val d'Isere. Since March 2009 she also carries the title of International Master (IM ) of the men. The standards for this they achieved with the French team championship in 2005, at the Swiss Individual Championship 2006 Lenzerheide and 29th at the Open of Béthune. Your current Elo rating is 2396 (as of February 2014), and is thus, behind Marie Sebag and Almira Scripcenco in third place of the French Elo ranking of women.
