Southern Ostrobothnia

Southern Ostrobothnia (Finnish Southern Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia Swedish Södra ) is one of 19 landscapes of Finland. The landscape comprises the southern Finnish-speaking inland of historic landscape Ostrobothnia. Southern Ostrobothnia is adjacent to the landscapes Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Pirkanmaa and Satakunta. From 1997 to 2009 belonged to the Southern Ostrobothnia province of Western Finland, before she formed with Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia province Vaasa. Administrative seat and largest city of the landscape is Seinäjoki.
