Stéphane Demol

Stéphane Demol ( born March 11, 1966 in Boitsfort ) is a Belgian football manager and former football player.

Career as a player

Stéphane Demol came at the age of 14 years for RSC Anderlecht, where in 1984 he began his professional career. In his first full season at Anderlecht defender 1985/86 scored 4 goals in 17 games and was named national coach Guy Thys before the 1986 World Cup in Mexico for the first time in the Belgian national team. In the 1986 World Cup he played all seven games of the Belgians and achieved legendary round against the favored Soviet Union in the 102 minutes of play the hits for interim 3:2 for Belgium.
